I would like all members to mark October 15 on their calendars. That is the date for our 2009 annual
meeting which will be held in Regina this year. Make sure you attend. Further details will follow in the
next couple of weeks
 
The Tech committee would like you to review the following:
 
This is a list of items to review that will be discussed with SGI on the Sept. 30th   please feel free to add
or make a comment as to the following list:
 
1) More clarity in regards to body ,frame and mechanical rates, parts that are listed in Mitchell estimate
books as mechanical operations but are not coded with SGI sheets as such ,maybe body or frame
rates are applied.
 
2) Report cost estimates taking too much time to get repair value to complete the guarantee estimate.
Response time from calls made to SGI?
 
3) Polish & denibing of refinished panels (time needed on a per job bases)  
 
4) A commitment of 1 or 2 guys to truck appraisal?
 
5) More specific rates with regards to school buses /rv refinish rates. E.g. school buses should all be
heavy truck rate?
 
6) A way to be clearer in regards to coverage with large truck and coverage to $15 k so that we can be
proactive in getting estimates completed in a more efficient time frame.
 
** Also we need a rep from the south on the 30th for the tech meeting in Saskatoon. **
